About Me

I offer tailored therapeutic support to help individuals, couples, and families navigate a wide range of personal and relational challenges. My areas of specialisation include strengthening parent-child and adolescent relationships, supporting couples through conflict and growth, and guiding individuals through significant life transitions such as parenthood, menopause, separation, and other difficult phases. I’m committed to fostering meaningful change and empowering my clients. In our work together, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your concerns, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a more fulfilling future.

Personal & Professional Journey

I’m Dr Rosienne Camilleri, a warranted couple and family therapist and an academic lecturer at the University of Malta. I hold a Master’s degree in Systemic Practice and Family Therapy from the University of Malta and a doctorate in Education from the University of Sheffield. My background in both therapy and education allows me to bring a holistic, thoughtful, and compassionate approach to my work with individuals, couples, and families.

Beyond my professional life, I’m also a mother, partner, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend — roles that continue to shape how I see the world and deepen my understanding of relationships in all their complexity.

I’m a proud member of the Malta Association of Family Therapy & Systemic Practice (MAFT), and I remain committed to supporting others with empathy, curiosity, and care.

My Passions

Outside of my work as a therapist and a lecturer, I’m deeply passionate about learning and exploring — whether that’s through books and literature, discovering new places while travelling, or simply walking in nature and taking in the stillness. I also love cooking and creating a sense of warmth and comfort at home — that cosy, grounding “home” feeling is something I try to carry into my therapy space as well. These small joys not only nourish me personally, but also inspire how I connect with others in my work.
